Architects (Licensed), SmithGroup, Inc., sub. of SmithGroup Co. Inc., 455 North Third Street, Suite 250, Phoenix, AZ 85004:

The Architect (Licensed) will lead a team of architects to complete technical documents for projects of complex nature (healthcare, science and technology, higher education, commercial). Prepare, coordinate, and complete constructiondocuments packages. Lead day-to-day construction administration activities including coordination with the contractor, owner, and consultants to maintain project progress. Mentor, provide oversight, and monitor the work performed by junior staff. Establish and execute project work plan and staffing requirements. Develop trusted relationships with clients. Participate in recruiting and performance management of staff. Meet with owners and user groups to determine program and planning requirements. Telecommuting is permitted, 2 days a week. Must be able to commute to the Phoenix office 3 days a week.

Minimum requirements: a bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in architecture, or a closely related architecture or design field of study and five years ofexperience in any related occupation working on architectural design. Must possess a valid Architectural License from any U.S. jurisdiction.
