***This position is for a roaming Building Operator in Winnipeg, Manitoba***

Who you are

The roaming Building Operator is responsible for the general maintenance and repairs for up to 30 properties dispersed across Winnipeg. The ideal candidate will be a critical interface with our clients and customers. Therefore, they must be professional, self-motivated, organized, and have a proven ability to problem-solve and prioritize workloads.

In This Role

  • You provide ongoing assistance and supportin all aspects of site operation and maintenance.

  • You respond to work orders related to repairs (eg, Plumbing, leaks, doors, locks, etc.) and maintenance (eg, Painting, garbage removal, etc)

  • You work with minimal supervision and bring your technical expertise as well as a handyman approach to repairs and maintenance.

What You'll Bring

  • 2-5 years of related experience in a commercial real estate environment

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Bonus skills and experience

  • Ability to multitask and be responsive to time-sensitive tasks

  • Flexible in working hours and able to respond to emergencies after hours

  • Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems

  • Experience with painting, drywall, and light carpentry/construction projects
