Our group, the Joint Defense Support Group within SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division, supports the Surface community and components of the United States Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas. We provide timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical, and acquisition support to the Maritime communities, and related agencies, allies, and partners. We are trusted agents of the senior and operational leadership in the Fleet, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies. We play key roles in providing insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to national security and have tremendous impact on our client's success in solving their most important issues.

SPA has an immediate need for a Graphic Designer to support OPNAV N1 Commander's Action Group (CAG). #MC

Responsibilities

The Commander's Action Group (CAG) Graphic Designer should be able to prepare formal technical drawings, graphics and illustrations in support of strategy development, operations and support functions; provide formal format and layout functions for MyNavy HR Enterprise publications; provide creative copywriting support including creating, editing, layout, and proofreading and provide scriptwriting support; and producing original creative concepts and developing storylines from concept to completed product. The Graphic Designer should also be able to support any other CAG client needs including communications planning, execution, and support documentation.



Qualifications

Required:

    Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design or related field
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in developing multi-media projects, graphics, and illustrations in Adobe Suite or Power Point.
  • SECRET Clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
  • In office support required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Navy manpower and personnel programs
