Production Coordinator

The mission of the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media is to prepare students to ignite the public conversation in our state, the nation and the world, and to understand the role of communication in fostering democracy. Hussman School of Journalism and Media invites applications for a temporary part-time Production Coordinator. The position will oversee video production for student broadcast shows, sports documentaries and video work for various units on campus. The Production Coordinator will be expected to interact with student producers and directors on a daily basis, providing feedback and coaching anchors and analysts.

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Previous experience with Ross Video systems and experience working with student video projects to the level of Hearst and Emmy submissions is required. Ability to shoot and edit video at a professional level is also required.

Experience as a sports announcer or analyst is preferred.
