A Brief Overview
Provides support and resource information to employees, participant families, vendors and visitors. This frontline receptionist/Greeter will be located at the main lobby desk of the Abramson Pediatric Research Center, The Colket Translational Research Building and the HUB for Clinical collaboration. Under the direction of the Family & Visitor Services management team, provides assistance and direction to patients, visitors, contractors, Vendors, and employees. Assist in relaying information about the building in collaboration with other departments and services. Providing optimum support services. The greeter/receptionist serves as a resource to those that need assistance.

What you will do

  • Actively greets and engages with visitors, patients, employees and contractors
  • Provides temporary ID Badges to Contractors, Vendors, visitors, and employees after they verify their visit.
  • Provides appropriate participant and visitor information in a professional and tactful manner
  • Enforces the building policies, (e.g., No personal mobility devices.)
  • Notifies security of alarm activations. Notifies 4CODE for medical emergencies.
  • Stocks etiquette stations with appropriate PPE daily
  • Keeps current with changes of office locations, services within the building
  • Maintains a visitor restriction file in conjunction with security department
  • Completes mandatory Occupational health requirements(Vaccines, Flu Shots)
  • Completes mandatory education and training
  • Consistently maintains departmental standards of excellence

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED Required

Experience Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year Experience in a service setting involving direct customer contact. Preferred

  • Ability to work well within a team. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. (Required proficiency)
  • Strong customer service skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Particular sophistication in working with families, vendors and visitors under tremendous stress. (Required proficiency)
