The Recruiting Manager develops and leads the staffing team to implement successful recruitment strategies and plans that promote opportunities that enrich the lives of people with disabilities and that result in the proper staffing of Didlake, Inc. This position is expected to partner closely with employees at all levels within the organization and interdepartmentally. The Recruiting Manager conducts thorough hiring plans with business leaders to scope position requirements while also advising hiring teams on labor market trends by using data and analytics. This individual must be highly skilled in effective communication and have strong interpersonal skills for successful transitions. The Recruiting Manager leads Recruiters who cover the Greater Washington DC and Greater Hampton Roads area with direct responsibility for filling positions within the organization.
- Oversee recruiting on behalf of Didlake, Inc., supporting the VP, all Business Units, and hiring managers.
- Develops and administers recruitment procedures that result in the successful staffing of the organization.
- Conducts market analyses to identify efficient and effective recruitment strategies to implement a recruitment program to include referral source identification, job fairs, cultural events, and other community events.
- Oversees and directs all recruitment advertising including placement decisions, length of run, and cost-effectiveness of advertisements.
- Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel.
- Identifies new referral sources and promotes positive relationships.
- Ensures the recruiting process is within the local, state, and federal laws.
- Actively advertises and markets positions using direct contacts, Websites, social media, postings, databases, employment ads, job fairs, and recruiting materials to seek out top talent.
- Oversee and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recruiting.
- Expertly assess candidates' behavioral competencies, motivational fit, and technical skills through application review.
- Manage and track all recruiting efforts and the results.
- Leads and facilitates recruitment meetings to plan recruitment strategies for current openings and strategize for future hiring needs.
- Generates and develops reporting metrics.
- Responsible for building tools and resources to support the interview process.
- Work with leadership to evaluate the continuing needs of the business to support the mission of the organization and implement improved recruiting processes/technologies to meet these ever-changing demands.
