Position Purpose
This position is for a 24/7 6-day session - July 7 - July 12, 2025. Mentors will arrive 4 days prior to camp start and will depart 2 days after the camp ends and are expected to be available for the entire time. Dormitory accommodations, a meal card, and parking are provided - Dartmouth's COVID policies and requirements will dictate changes for the program if necessary. Mentors will also be required to ensure HCID student participants comply with HCID code of conduct and Dartmouth's COVID policies.
This position involves working with high school students educating them about health career opportunities, college preparation, and important topics in the health care field. In addition, mentors will provide supervision, mentorship, and guide participants in career exploration and research along with logistical and organizational support. They will also organize and oversee recreational activities.
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to teach
  • Knowledge of curriculum development
  • One year of experience in a mentoring, teaching, or leadership role

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with preference given to a degree in a health profession
