About the Position The Administrative Specialist supports a dynamic team under general supervision by performing various clerical and support services, including creating move management plans and supporting the Facilities Branch's daily operations. We Require
Two years of experience performing office, administrative, and clerical duties High school diploma or GED An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/orjob-related experience may substitute for therequired experience on a year-for-year basis

Assist with all aspects of the daily administrative operations of the Facilities Branch Act as the MCDOT security badge access lead to include assigning badge access, deleting access, running user reports, troubleshooting cameras, and retrieving security information as requested Conduct and coordinate assigned projects and research studies. Identify and resolve problems. Create and track all furniture orders Compose correspondence, create spreadsheets and other documents, create, edit, and process correspondence, memoranda, letters, legal documents, information packets, and other communications Prepare meeting agendas and presentation materials, take and transcribe meeting minutes, and prepare summaries for distribution. Schedule and coordinate meetings Answer phones, resolve problems, and provide answers regarding facility and furniture requests within the scope of authority; route calls to appropriate individuals, take and deliver messages Assure all administrative actions comply with County policy, procedures, and guidelines Assist with all contractual services and updates to administrative policies and procedures Other duties as assigned
