Maintain functionality of supply chain related systems, including Lawson, Point of use automation, and recall management. Ensure that the system is functioning properly, effectively and to its potential. Train team members and implement enhancements as needed. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, ordering, inventory and purchasing systems. Create inventory data sheets, monitor utilization, track financial impact and create presentations related to initiatives. Recommend cost saving and inventory reduction ideas to the team for evaluation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study and six months of Supply Chain experienceORHigh School Diploma and eight (8) years of Supply Chain experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP). EXPERIENCE: 1. Four (4) years of Supply Chain experience in a healthcare environment. Recommends and spearheads approved system usage improvements to enhance departmental workflow and efficiency by execution of functional system test plans (beta tests). 2. Assists with annual and periodic inventory counts 3. Perpetual Inventory:Assistance with the on-going implementation of perpetual inventory of all the high dollar locations such as the Surgery, Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Imaging and others as identified. 4. Identifies needs for system and operational changes to meet expectations of department and facility. 5. Prioritizes workload to manage multiple priorities. 6. Serve as the liaison with applicable IT staff to correct system deficiencies and operating issues on Supply Chain systems and software 7. Develops operational procedures for the Supply Chain systems. 8. Supports all functions of supply chain related systems, including Lawson, Point of use automation, and recall management. 9. Performs analysis and data mining activities to identify supply chain savings 10. Run monthly operational and statistical reports 11. Provides assistance in problem identification and resolution of daily operation problems within required time frames. 12. Responsible for coordination and implementation of all supply chain activities for supplies between Supply Chain Services and user departments. 13. Provides support to resolve escalated incidents or fulfill requests received from users; provides status on user issues. 14. Works with limited supervision; provides guidance and coaching to less experienced team members. 15. Monitoring of operational performance and driving improvement within supply chain operations. 16. Analyze and trend clinical supply cost, spend, and utilization data, with a particular focus on high cost clinical products. 17. Present final analyses to various clinical and nonclinical leaders to provoke dialogue, action plans, and decision-making 18. Create visually attractive, user-friendly reports to support product standardization efforts, contract compliance, and strategic decision-making. 19. Create reports as directed for dissemination and discussion with clinical staff that makes improvement/standardization opportunities apparent. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Maintains a high degree of customer service commitment with the ability to communicate data in front of diverse groups.
