The pay range for this position is $92,000-$125,000 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Senior Business Associate to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Senior Business Associate, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the COO, driving critical initiatives across operations, finance, and strategy. This role requires a proactive, data-driven professional who can take ownership of complex projects, analyze key business trends, and collaborate across departments to execute solutions. This position is full-time, working Monday - Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(25%) Strategic and Operational Initiatives



  • Function as the right-hand to the COO, supporting executive decision-making with data-driven insights and structured problem-solving.
  • Lead special projects focused on operational efficiency, business growth, and performance optimization across our network of radiology centers.
  • Work cross-functionally to execute expansion initiatives, post-merger integration efforts, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Develop business cases for new opportunities and work with stakeholders to implement them successfully.



(25%) Business Insights and Decision Support



  • Analyze operational, financial, and market data to uncover trends and recommend strategic actions.
  • Support financial modeling, forecasting, and budget planning efforts in collaboration with finance leadership.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, board materials, and executive reports to drive strategic discussions.


(25%) Data Analytics and Reporting



  • Extract, clean, and manipulate large datasets to generate meaningful insights on operational performance, patient volumes, financial trends, and other key business metrics.
  • Work closely with IT and Business Intelligence teams to define business requirements for dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring they are built to meet the needs of end users.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting to support informed decision-making.



(20%) Cross-Functional Execution and Leadership



  • Partner with Field Operations, Finance, and Clinical teams to drive execution on high-priority initiatives.
  • Support leadership in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive the development of best practices, playbooks, and process improvements to scale operations efficiently.



(5%) Other Duties



  • Completes other tasks and projects, as assigned


Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, healthcare management, or related field
  • Three (3) years' experience in management consulting, business strategy, or a similar role (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (data querying and manipulation)
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working with executive leadership on strategic projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing board-level materials and strategic reports



Preferred:



  • Four (4) plus years' experience in management consulting, business strategy, or a similar role (healthcare experience a plus)
  • Experience with, or working knowledge of, Data Science best practices; curiosity, clarity, confidence, commitment, and consistency
