We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Defrost Tumbler Operator

Job Summary: In a fast-paced production, team environment, the Defrost Operator is always maintaining a safe environment - compliant with all company standards. The Defrost Operator position is responsible for loading, unloading, washing and operating defrost tumblers. They ensure that all product is produced correctly and is accounted for properly. The position requires 100% standing in an environment less than 40 degrees F.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Maintain proper meat quality.

  
  
• Maintain pace with line speed.
• Perform physical tasks every shift.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 1 to 6 months of similar experience is preferred.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be safety, quality, and efficiency minded.
• Chemical training will be provided and required
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Exposure to cold (< 40 degrees).
• Exposure to heat (> 60 degrees)
• Ability to lift up to 31-50 pounds.
• Contact with raw meat.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Climbing/exposure to heights.
• Documenting information.
• Extensive fine motor movements.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
