All Positions: This job is part of the Schenectady Summer Theatre Camp. The camp will run on weekdays from July 7th-August 1st from 2:00-6:00pm, as part of the Extended Day Program. Staff will be expected to report to Door 8 at Schenectady High School at 2:00pm and stay until 6:00pm. Staff will teach acting, singing, dancing, and stagecraft skills. Dance Director: The Dance Director's main job is to choreograph and teach the dances for the culminating musical, Go Fish. The Dance Director should expect to: -Collaborate with the Program Director and Music Director on creating and executing the camp schedule. -Create choreography that challenges elementary students, but that they can execute well by the performance. -Teach choreography and dance technique to young dancers at a beginner level. -Lead physical warm-up exercises.
