Your Role

The Health Solutions Operations team supports Blue Shield of California clinical operations. The Administrative Assistant, Specialist will report to the Sr. Director of Health Solutions Operations, Strategy, Planning and Performance. In this role you will provide administrative support for two Sr. Directors and their senior leadership teams. This requires scheduling & coordinating a high volume of high-profile meetings both in-person and virtual, managing calendars and expense reports for the Sr. Directors and their senior leadership, making travel arrangements, onboarding employees, maintaining organizational charts and being a source for Blue Shield of California policies and procedures.

Your Knowledge and Experience



  • Requires a high school diploma or GED
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires someone who is proactive
  • Experience working with multiple leaders preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 360, including Co-Pilot
  • Experience with Concur preferred
