JOB SUMMARY
The mission of the Content Systems team at WebMD Ignite is to optimize the systems and processes used for content asset development to maximize efficiency and value. The Content Systems Manager establishes and delivers a suite of operational effectiveness projects and serves as a subject matter expert in content systems optimization.
The Content Systems Manager ensures projects are prioritized, teams are aligned, and outcomes are delivered on time to achieve business objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Content Systems Manager is responsible for the following:

Content Systems Management.
Aligns work with strategic goals and objectives and implements a streamlined portfolio prioritization process to keep work-in-progress at a manageable level. Leads and/or advises workflow management, system integration, change management, process integration, process improvement, and other operations efforts. -
Operations scaling.
Provides strategic visioning to ensure sustainable growth of content systems. Serves as advisor in establishing scaling paths for people, processes, and tools. Oversees the execution of projects with a focus on transformational change for operational improvement. -
Data and Insights:
Leads content data collection and analyses, business reporting, storytelling, and data improvement initiatives. Gathers, analyzes and interprets business data from various sources and translates into a clear and concise narratives, highlighting key findings and recommendations. -
Collaboration:
Partners with other team members to ensure operational efficiency. Leads project teams and builds effective, cross-functional relationships to optimize company success. -
Content Technology Management
: Work with technical and product teams to draft requirements for tools, systems, and software projects. Establishes and facilitates a system governance group for the content team. -
Innovation
: Supports Content Systems Director in team discovery of new processes, tools, and approaches through ongoing learning and investigation.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with an emphasis on practical experience. -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. -
8+ years of experience in change management or related roles. -
Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. -
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. -
Experience in the industry or similar sectors is preferred.
