Job Title Systems Engineering Analyst- Summer Intern 2025 Location Alabama - Huntsville - Huntsville, AL 35802 US (Primary) Job Description Position Overview Join us at Torch Technologies, a forefront innovator in tech solutions, as a Systems Engineering Analyst Intern for Summer 2025. This role is ideal for a student eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute to meaningful projects.The intern will support the development of systems analysis tools for a missile defense modeling and simulation suite Learning Opportunities Work alongside experienced engineers and professionals in the field of engineering Gain exposure to advanced technologies and engineering methodologies Develop skills in problem-solving, project management, and technical documentation Enhance your understanding of systems engineering analyst work Receive mentorship and guidance to aid your professional growth and understanding of the industry Duration and Location This is a summer internship, lasting 12 weeks. Huntsville, Alabama Key Responsibilities During your internship, you may... Assist in the development and implementation of system engineering projects Contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts Participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and presentations Engage in problem-solving activities and apply critical thinking skills to address engineering challenges Support the integration of hardware and software components into existing systems Attend team meetings and provide input on project status and progress Job Requirements Qualifications Currently enrolled as a junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a Cyber Security focus Strong academic record with a passion for system engineering and technology Basic engineering, programming, and scripting classes Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance Requirements US Citizen At least 18 years old Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period Application Process Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, portfolio, and unofficial transcripts through the Torch Technologies careers portal.
