Finance Manager - Global Marketing Finance

This role is within the Global Marketing Finance Team and drives financial planning, analysis and reporting of Global Marketing initiatives. The Finance Manager will help produce insights and recommendations for the Global Marketing leadership, support the coordination of global forecast and budget cycles, and analyze performance against these plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions and growth.

Essential Functions

• Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for the Marketing function.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns.

  • Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators and budget, providing insights and recommendations to optimize marketing spend.

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to Global Marketing leadership.

• Business Partnering:

  • Serve as a key financial advisor to the Marketing leadership team.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on budget management, cost optimization, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.

  • Facilitate quarterly business reviews with marketing stakeholders, highlighting financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop business cases for new investments and present findings to senior management.

• Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management.

  • Monitor key financial metrics and trends and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at driving process improvements and operational excellence.

This is a hybrid position. Expectations of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or atleast 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or moreyears of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a salesorganization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpretcomplex data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, experience with financial software and ERPsystems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, SQL) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conveyfinancial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamicenvironment.
• Experience supporting a sales organization.
• Strong program/project management skills & strong facilitation skills.
• Ability to effectively navigate and lead others in an ambiguous environment toachieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable value to theorganization by holding yourself and others accountable.
• Strong relationship-management skills and ability to communicate effectivelyand collaborate with senior-to-exec management.
• Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo andconstructively challenges the team to aim for higher ground, change agent.
• Global experience preferred.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
