As a Security Professional - Hotel Patrol in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity to support a positive atmosphere throughout the property.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the hotel or resort environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter, adapting to the unique conditions of the hotel or resort location.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and address security-related incidents as they arise.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with hotel or resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
