ASML is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst that is detail oriented and analytical to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for US tax compliance, reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and research. Enjoy working in a fast-paced multi state environment with the ability to drive process improvement and resolving tax issues.

Role and responsibilities

  • Tax management of US Payroll
  • Quarterly & Year end processes
  • Quarterly & Year End Reconciliations
  • Ensure filings are complete and accurate
  • Research, respond and resolve all tax notices with third party vendor
  • Research and monitor regulatory & legislative updates to ensure compliance
  • Review & research tax general ledger accounts and assist in reconciliation
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual reconciliations and filings with third party vendor
  • Review and coordinate tax amendments
  • Review existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Annual W2 review & processing
  • W2c balancing and processing
  • Monitor and update UI and local tax rates
  • Account registration state and local tax jurisdictions including closures
  • Complete tax paperwork for TPA's & POA's
  • Audit and update worked in & lived in employee tax records
  • Testing and implementation for tax updates
  • Provide support for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Review stock taxation
  • Create & maintain all tax reports
  • Tax lead on payroll projects

Education and experience

  • Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Two or more years of experience in payroll, payroll tax, and/or accounting
  • Deep understanding of US payroll tax regulations, including multi-state and multi-unit payroll

Skills

  • Proficiency in relevant payroll and tax systems, such as UKG, ADP Smart Compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with various stakeholders

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch
  • Occasionally required to move around the campus
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • May require travel (specify domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs
