Your role with us

Salem Health is looking for a dedicated physical therapist to join our Inpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll provide intensive therapy (3 hours per day, 5 days per week) to patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputation, and other rehabilitation diagnoses. You'll collaborate closely with a supportive care team, document patient progress, manage your caseload, and contribute to safe and effective discharge planning. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate patients and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Work with patients and families to set recovery goals.
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based therapy tailored to individual needs.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and fellow therapists.
  • Manage your caseload and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Follow all safety, licensing and hospital policies.
  • Stay current with training and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Required qualifications

  • Holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.

Additional information

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
