And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day. Leads the implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Manages common compensation functions including job evaluation, salary grade recommendations, pay program administration, survey participation and other associated initiatives. Ensures that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategy. Directs data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Participates in union negotiations by analyzing and modeling wage recommendations.I. Major Responsibilities 1. In close partnership with the Labor Relations & Finance teams, develops and recommends compensation programs and associated policies and procedures designed to meet the needs of the organization's represented workforce. 2. Works closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure union hiring guidelines are appropriately applied and continue to meet recruiting objectives of the business. Develops and maintains tools to assist TA facilitate the hiring and offer process. 3. Partner with Payroll to resolve pay inquiries and recommend system enhancements to proactively prevent future issues. 4. Manages analytical studies in a variety of compensation areas, such as internal and external equity, competitive pay practices, incentive compensation, and emerging trends. 5. Plays a large role in the annual market analysis by having system wide understanding of which areas have critical pay concerns externally and within the system. Meet with senior leaders to discuss areas of concern and manage inquiries. 6. Manages pay administration for the non-represented workforce as well as our unions throughout the year. III. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: B.S/B.A., in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Labor Relations or equivalency Preferred: CCP and/or SHRM - SPHR Experience/Skills: Required: Minimum 5 years compensation related experience Strong project management skills Ability to work closely in conjunction with and counsel senior leaders on escalated compensation matters Robust understanding of MEPA Very strong Excel skills Preferred: Experience with one of the following 3 is a must - Workday, healthcare setting, union setting 2+ years in compensation management Expert level Excel skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
