JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Undersea Systems Office (USO) within the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking a Division Head for the Energy Science and Power Systems (ESPS) Division. The mission of the ESPS Division is to be the leader in the research, design, development, and technology transition of advanced power and energy solutions for the US Navy and other Department of Defense (DoD) customers primarily in the undersea domain. The ESPS Division consists of five departments: Integrated Power Systems - Energy Sources, Integrated Power Systems - Energy Conversion, Instrumentation & Control, Technology Concepts & Modeling, and Experimental Support. Collectively these departments maintain the workforce, knowledge-base, and facilities to develop and demonstrate complete prototype power systems for unique, specialized applications. This position may be filled as either a Research and Development Engineer or a non-tenure Research Faculty. You Will:

Your working location will be fully on-site, located in State College, PA.
