Job Summary
A highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate is sought to join a cutting-edge computational biology lab focused on developing novel AI and machine learning methods for modeling normal development and disease progression. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics, proficiency in Python/R programming, and a passion for applying computational approaches to solve biological problems. This position offers the opportunity to supervise students and to collaborate with leading researchers in the field and contribute to impactful publications in top scientific journals.
Minimum Education and Experience
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience
A PhD in a relevant field is required. Preferred education and experience in computational biology, AI, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics and Phython/R programing.

-Computational biology lab focused on developing novel AI
-Machine learning methods for modeling normal development and disease progression.
-Bioinformatics, proficiency in Python/R programming, and a passion for applying computational approaches to solve biological problems.

Additional Information
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
