Software Test Automation Engineer (Kotlin/Python, CI/CD, Android/iOS)
Seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer
with strong expertise in Kotlin, Python, and CI/CD automation
for Android
and iOS
applications. This role supports a key open-source initiative
focused on showcasing On-Device Machine Learning (ODML)
capabilities, including TFLite
and emerging GenAI
technologies. You'll help build and maintain automation infrastructure
for mobile, web, and OSS
projects, with a focus on developer experience
and GitHub CI pipelines. You'll support both manual and automated testing
for internal and external apps and contribute directly to OSS tools
used in ML workflows.
Scope:
* Build automated test frameworks
for Android, iOS, and Web apps
using Kotlin
and Python
* Integrate testing into GitHub Actions
pipelines, supporting CI/CD
and ML workflows
* Develop and scale test infrastructure for open-source, on-device ML
tools
* Collaborate with SWE teams
to design and implement automation strategies
* Lead QA planning, test harnesses, and validation for production apps and dev tools
* Enhance test coverage for LiteRT, MediaPipe, and related OSS projects
Required:
* Proficiency in Kotlin (Android)
and Python
* Experience with GitHub Actions
and CI/CD pipeline development
* Familiarity with Android and iOS testing frameworks
* Exposure to Swift
and iOS testing
* Strong grasp of developer experience
and open-source practices
* Collaborative mindset; able to work cross-functionally with engineering teams
Pluses:
* Experience with on-device ML frameworks
like TFLite
or MediaPipe
* Familiarity with C++
for ML pipeline integrations
* Contributions to open-source testing
or developer infrastructure tools
* Experience building tools or apps for beginner developers
* Exposure to GitHub-based OSS build/test environments
Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $70.00
