Short Intro and About the Job

The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the Sr. CBM in developing and executing sales strategies and business relationships for the Danone portfolio. This position reports directly to the Sr. CBM and collaborates closely with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of sales plans and customer initiatives.

    Support the SR. CBM in driving sales strategies to grow Danone North America business at assigned customers or within categories at assigned customers.
  • Assist in understanding customer business needs and building short and long-term strategies that support those customer goals while achieving company sales targets and financial expectations.
  • Help execute company plans at the customer level by building customer/category plans in coordination with the Customer Planning Manager

Objectives

  • Provide analytical support to the Sr. CBM in building and executing the customer plan to grow the business.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and priorities to support the Sr. CBM in developing sales/account plans that meet customer objectives while operating within Danone North America corporate initiatives and guidelines.
  • Support financials of the business through trade management system, P&L, RGM guardrails and audits.
  • Assist in coordinating the selling process for the given customer/channel/category to deliver NS goals covering 100% of ACV.
  • Identify opportunities to gain distribution on new products and improve product exposure.
  • Post promotion analysis to drive efficiency.
  • Leverage the customer portals drive analysis and communication of Danone plans.
  • Support the Sr. CBM in negotiating with customer headquarters/category buyers on pricing, new items, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with customer and internal teams on joint business plans.
  • Leverage internal resources (category management, customer planning, shopper marketing, etc.) to drive success at the customer level.
  • Enhance relationships with key customer personnel and Danone North America.
  • Assist in preparing for and conducting scheduled customer business reviews.
  • Provide key inputs for demand planning and distributor teams- own the bottom-up forecast, provide key input into the bottom-up forecast
  • Provide category thought leadership and insights from customer to drive both category growth and business across Danone NA
  • Represent Danone North America during annual tradeshows and conferences attended by the CBM

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience. About You

  • You will have a Bachelors Degree
  • CPG experience preferred
  • You must demonstrate the ability to achieve breakthrough results through the course of work
  • Travel 10-15% (depending on location)
