JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

List of Responsibilities/Job duties:

  • Research focus: Socio-technical and legal impacts of datafication and AI on communities, especially worker groups and including black-box algorithms and large language models.
  • Job responsibilities include:
    • Develop and conduct semi-structured interview procedures
    • Produce and deploy recruitment materials
    • Participate in coding transcripts
    • Assist in data analysis
  • Necessary skills:
    • B.S. in relevant area
    • Qualitative research experience
    • Ability to work independently and synthesize extensive literature
    • People skills and willingness to conduct research interviews
    • Statistical knowledge and ability to develop strategies for data cleaning and analysis

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to work flexible hours, and be able to work independently.
