JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: List of Responsibilities/Job duties: Research focus: Socio-technical and legal impacts of datafication and AI on communities, especially worker groups and including black-box algorithms and large language models. Job responsibilities include: Develop and conduct semi-structured interview procedures Produce and deploy recruitment materials Participate in coding transcripts Assist in data analysis Necessary skills: B.S. in relevant area Qualitative research experience Ability to work independently and synthesize extensive literature People skills and willingness to conduct research interviews Statistical knowledge and ability to develop strategies for data cleaning and analysis Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to work flexible hours, and be able to work independently. Working with Dr. Dana Calacci for 15 weeks. Please visit HR103 for allowable weekly hours.
