Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Scientist with 8+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Airflow Machine Learning Dialogflow Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing Deep Learning Tensorflow and Python.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of data pipelines using Airflow to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Guide in Natural Language Processing and Dialogflow to improve conversational AI capabilities.
  • Apply deep learning techniques to develop innovative solutions for various applications.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to extract meaningful insights and drive data-driven decision making.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of machine learning models in production environments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all data science projects and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Implement standard methodologies for model validation testing and deployment.
  • Partner closely with customers to understand their requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Contribute to the company's purpose by bringing to bear AI for crafting positive societal impact.
Qualifications
  • Possess strong technical skills in Airflow Machine Learning Dialogflow Artificial Intelligence Natural Language Processing Deep Learning Tensorflow and Python.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
  • Exhibit proficiency in designing data pipelines and ensuring efficient data processing.
  • Show expertise in Natural Language Processing and conversational AI technologies.
  • Have a deep understanding of deep learning techniques and their applications.
  • Display the ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
  • Experience in the Information domain is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful AI solutions.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with day shifts.
  • No travel requirements.
Certifications Required

Certified TensorFlow Developer Professional Machine Learning Engineer

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted through 5/28/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000- $156,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
