Press Brake Operator

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join the Fabrication team at our Production facility in Florence, KY. The Press Brake Operator uses a Press Brake machine to form different gauges of sheet metal to various angles and shapes. This is a second position working Monday through Thursday, 3:30PM to 2:30AM.

Scope and Responsibilities:
* Pull parts from baskets.
* Correctly forming sheetmetal to various degrees of bend according to blueprint specifications.
* Responsible for making sure all parts are in the basket according to plots and summaries.
* Verification that machine is in safe working condition daily.
* Standing for long periods of time is required.
* Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Education/Certification:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Technical school or Vocational School diploma preferred

Skills:
* Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.
* Must have previous knowledge of protractors and gauges.
* CNC Machine experience is preferred.
* Attention to detail and precision in work
* Safety focused mindset is required
* Experience working independently and as part of a team
