Learn how to become a Table Games Dealer! Dive into ourDealer Trainee ProgramstartingJanuary 28th, 2025. From Tuesday to Friday, over 6 to 9 electrifying weeks, we'll transform you from novice to table games titan!

ORIENTATION INFORMATION:

Before starting the training on Tuesday, June 24th 2025, there will be a mandatory paid orientation session on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. This is a required step for all candidates and will provide an overview of the program and what to expect.

CLASS TIMES OFFERED:

  • 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • 4:00 pm - 12:00 am

SKILLS OFFERED:

  • Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Roulette

WHAT TO EXPECT:

BLACKJACK

  • Basic Table Procedures: Handling cheques, cash buy-ins, color-ups, and table maintenance
  • Blackjack Rules & Player Options: Insurance, surrender, splits (including aces), and doubling down
  • Payouts & Math: Blackjack payout variations (6:5 and 3:2), side bets, and progressive jackpots
  • Game Operations: Opening and closing procedures, shuffling, use of automatic shufflers, and fill procedures
  • Additional Games: Introductory training in Pontoon and Casino War
  • Hands-On Practice & Testing: Regular assessments, one-on-one coaching, and live dealing simulation

ROULETTE

  • Game Mechanics: Learn proper wheel spinning technique and how to ensure fair, random outcomes
  • Player Interaction: Announce winning numbers and colors clearly; maintain an engaging, fast-paced table
  • Chip & Payout Skills: Handle color chips correctly and perform accurate, efficient payouts across various bet types
  • Security Awareness: Understand and follow protocols for chip handling, game integrity, and money procedures
  • Speed & Accuracy: Focus on improving pace and precision in both game dealing and customer interaction

DICE

  • Game Mechanics: Learn all key bet types including Pass Line, Don't Pass, Come, Field, and more
  • Dice Handling & Procedures: Master proper dice control, stick calls, and fast-paced game flow
  • Player Interaction: Maintain energy and clarity at a high-action table while delivering excellent guest service
  • Game Protection: Understand and apply advanced procedures to maintain integrity and security
  • Real-World Prep: Engage in live practice, mock auditions, and situational training to prepare for live casino dealing

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Excellent in calculating math mentally.
  • Has a strong presence or impressive demeanor.
  • Ability to attend all training classes.
  • Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
  • Works well under pressure.

Pay Range:

The starting rate for this role is:

$15.00

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
