Certified Athletic Trainer Falls Church, VA Pay From: $24 per hour MUST: The Athletic Trainer must have experience with: Graduate of a CAATE (Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education) accredited Athletic Training Program Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training Athletic Trainer Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred that someone has one year of professional experience in one or more of the following: sports injury, high school/college athletics, sports medicine, or physical therapy DUTIES: The staff Athletic Trainer functions under the supervision of the rehabilitation leadership team and the department director The Athletic Trainer provides direct patient/client care under the general supervision of a designated licensed healthcare provider ultimately responsible for the specific patient/client The staff Athletic Trainer assumes responsibility and accountability for providing evaluation and treatment established in conjunction with a designated licensed healthcare provider as determined by a plan of care and in accordance with scope of practice, established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, all while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
