Job Description: Global Business Process Owner/ Pricing Lead Huntsman is seeking a Global Business Process Owner/ Pricing Lead supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Global Business Performance Director, Elastomers. Job Scope The Global Business Process Owner/ Pricing Lead will streamline business processes, and design PowerBi dashboards to support business decision making. Pricing Lead will manage an end-to-end pricing process that drives pricing excellence and the delivery of our Global Elastomers Strategic Objectives. Report to the global Performance Director and Support the Elastomers commercial, marketing and supply chain team by providing accurate and timely pricing decisions and analytical insights. In summary, as the Global Business Process Owner/ Pricing Lead, you will: As Global Business Process Owner:
- Drive Elastomers Pricing Excellence process by deploying global tools to monitor actual performance, conduct margin and profitability analysis, preparing pricing forecasts and financial projections.
- Own Pricing guidance process - To collaborate with commercial and marketing to align pricing strategies. Evaluate and recommend pricing scenarios based on market conditions.
- Install pricing guardrails by deploying a pricing approval matrix in conjunction with global marketing and commercial leadership to implement global Pricing performance PowerBI tool.
- Support the Elastomers' Performance by redesign the TPU costing model and by collaborating with the Supply Chain organization to optimize the global footprint.
- Develop and implement pricing processes/models with stakeholders to add value and ensure appropriate security levels for data access and integrity.
- Investigating, analyzing and assessing the efficiency & effectiveness of the current processes and procedures - systems/ information input/ tools/ analysis/ outputs.
- Collaborate with team members across platform to determine opportunities for standardization.
- Define KPI's and pricing tools to set up monitoring system for performance to lead, initiate and drive continuous improvement in business processes and achievement of business results.
- Leverage PowerBi, IBM and SAP systems to collect & visualize data to identify actionable insights and improve decision making.
As Pricing Lead:
- Work closely with the global commercial, marketing, supply chain, finance, purchasing and other key business partners to maximize the profitability of the business by systematically employing key pricing levers
- Achieve cross-functional coordination between all key business partners needed to develop and implement the pricing strategy
- Drive opportunities by implementing pricing strategy and manage the deal execution
- Develop internal and external communications related to pricing
- Lead development of long-term pricing strategy for complex products/services
Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management/ equivalent via experience
- 7+ years business experience, ideally across multiple functions
Skills and knowledge
- Demonstrated experience of cross functional collaboration
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and influencing skills required
- Capability of translating processes across multiple functions into a simplified end to end process
- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization is required to build and improve relationships. Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing
- Excellent computer skills required. PowerBi is a major plus. Especially proficiency in SAP, PowerPoint, management information systems, Excel
- Flexibility and adaptability to new instructions and/or dynamic organizational priorities and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity is critical for job success
