Seeking Home Equity Processors to join our Lending Team. These positions are contract roles until the end of the year, with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment if openings arise.
As a Home Equity Processor, you will be responsible for the full cycle of home equity loan processing, which is simpler than mortgage processing. Your duties will include: * Managing 25 to 30 files per person once fully trained. * Processing home equity loans from start to finish. * Reviewing income information (e.g., pay stubs). * Ordering appraisals if needed. * Ordering flood certifications. * Gathering payoff information. * Reviewing mortgagee clauses. * Preparing files for closing and sending them to underwriting. * Arranging closings. Additional Skills & Qualifications: * 1+ years of full cycle mortgage or home equity processing experience * High School Diploma Work Environment: * Great environment with a newly renovated building. * 2nd floor cubicles with about 20-30 people on the floor at all times. * Business casual dress code (no leggings, sandals, or jeans). * Nice cafeteria and break room available.
