Job Overview:

The Media Planner provides critical support in the execution of media by ensuring the timely and accurate transfer of information internally and externally for advertising strategies that reach consumers where their attention is focused- from paid social, display, premium publishers, influencers, outdoor, and print. Responsibilities span media tactics including ad scheduling and trafficking, bill tracking, campaign set-up, and reporting. Familiarity with digital advertising operations and agility to adjust to a shifting media landscape are essential.

Essential Functions:



  • Support Senior Media Manager and Senior Media Planner in the planning and execution of digital, print, outdoor media campaigns
  • Ensure creative milestones run smoothly; briefing assets, circulating creative for review, compiling team feedback, and collecting final assets for trafficking
  • Own campaign set-up and execution, working with internal and external partners on asset procurement, linking, tagging and quality assurance. Oversee media request and changes from the merchant organization
  • Work closely with finance and media team to ensure that all campaigns are accurately and promptly accounted for within billing system. Monitor agreements and contracts with media vendors
  • Analyze key data insights, identify optimizations, and deliver performance wrap ups for all campaigns
  • Organize and update partner overviews, publisher presentations/proposals, and screenshots of past/current campaigns
  • Contribute to the development and direction of media strategies and POV's: conduct media research, brainstorm, evaluate data, and develop point of view. Understand various media and their applications against business strategies and goals
  • Assist in new projects and participate in the development of internal presentations
  • Support team on competitive analysis and identify new partner opportunities; stay on top of industry news and trends
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, including product inventory feed, etc.

Qualifications and Competencies:



  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
  • Experience with digital media ad platforms (Meta, Google, DCM, or similar)
  • Experience using Adobe Suite, Coremetrics, Lumina (Mediaocean/Guidelines) or similar enterprise tools, a plus
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Suites; Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Detail oriented


Physical Requirements:



  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
  • Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
  • Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
