RF Systems Engineer - 96TSSQ

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an RF Systems Engineer / Electrical Engineer to providing RF engineering support to our customers in the 96th Test Wing at Eglin AFB, FL.

Work Location: Onsite; Eglin AFB, FL

Job Status: Full-Time

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Engineering discipline and 10+ years relevant experience.
• Specific experience with design, test, and integration of RF systems and subsystems to include radar, telemetry, and datalinks for DoD systems.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Provide technical leadership in Test and Evaluation, specifically in planning, analyzing, and evaluating efforts to define system requirements and develop system specifications. The ideal candidate will guide and evaluate the design and development activities of others across several phases of the development process. This role requires translating stakeholder needs into technical statements, assessing requirements, and applying a systematic approach to organizing technical resources and activities to achieve program goals. The selected candidate will utilize systematic methods to organize and guide the development process, analyze problem scenarios to determine required capabilities, and apply engineering principles and techniques to develop solutions that meet requirements.
