JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (Stuckeman School) is seeking to hire an experienced administrative professional as an Academic Program Coordinator - Senior Support for the Department of Architecture. The Academic Program Coordinator will focus on the day-to-day administrative operations of the department, provide administrative support to the department head, serve as the department's Undergraduate Program Coordinator, and oversee and organize awarding of scholarships and student competitions. In addition to being the primary contact for undergraduate architecture students and applicants, the Academic Program Coordinator will work directly with faculty, the advising staff, and many external constituents. More specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Academic Program Coordinator will work both independently and collaboratively, utilizing organizational and multi-tasking skills, to complete the position's responsibilities. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. This position will have an in-person work arrangement. The Stuckeman School Office offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus workdays, coordinated by the staff manager. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. Education and Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and prior experience working in a direct administrative support role are required.Experience working with database systems is preferred.
