Employment Type: Hourly Position Summary:
Provide administrative support in managing daily scheduling of shipments and branch transfer finished goods receiving. Provide accurate and timely documentation as needed, related to shipments and receipts. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments for prepaid & customer loads, working with shipping carriers. Also schedules finished goods receiving appointments. Check in drivers and schedule incoming trucks in and out of the appropriate docks. Responsible for all documents & administrative duties related to shipments, receipts, and RPA's ensuring all are complete and accurate. UPS Freight - (Responsible for assigning m/b, figuring freight cost, printing bill of lading, invoice prep & filing of documentation.) Print daily pick tickets and assist loaders with inventory and loading issues using JDE, RF Smart and AS400 while verifying loading accuracy. Prepare shipping documents and verify for accuracy. Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, as required. Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Experience in a shipping/receiving traffic environment preferred. Knowledge and Skills:
Computer literate to include experience with office software programs, such as Microsoft Office, JDE, RF Smart and AS400 systems. Proficient in 10-key operation, with excellent math skills. Possess good communication skills, both written & verbal. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced office environment. Attention to detail coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
