Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst II/III to join our team! The successful candidate will support the Unmanned Surface Vehicle Integrated Combat System (USVICS) Program. This is an on-site position located Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:



  • Perform Configuration Management/Data Management functions: planning, configuration identification, configuration control, status accounting, audits, and data management
  • Perform meeting secretariat functions: Generate agendas, distribute artifacts for review, track/consolidate comments, accurately capture/distribute highlights/minutes and track action items
  • Generate sections of CMPs, define and document various CM processes
  • Export Requirements from DOORS and provide testing assistance to the program
  • Update Informedb with current ship configuration data
  • Support milestone and certification events with providing configuration information, artifact control and Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) tracking
  • On-site, direct support to Gov't customer; liaison with Program Office leadership directly
  • Maintain data records and libraries with updated status accounting information
  • Travel to ship/site locations to perform shipboard audits, as needed
  • Update stories, Sprint planning cycles in Jira
  • Present at contract and program In-Process Reviews (IPRs)
  • Represent the CM team at program meetings ensuring that CM concerns are communicated or impacts to CM are brought back for issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports utilizing MSWord Excel, PowerPoint and other tools
  • Maintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (Confluence/SharePoint)


Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizenand have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Demonstrableknowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniques
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years of previous DoD CM experience
  • Highly proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, government customers, and program sponsors
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment
  • Self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
  • Ability to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documents
  • Excellent oral communication skills; must possess ability and willingness to present technical material to Navy leadership at the 0-6 Flag/SES level (department heads, program office, etc.)



Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Prior change board secretariat experience
  • Jira or Confluence experience
  • Prior experience with CM program start-up
