Job Description

The Director of Nvidia NCP Sales & GTM for DDN will be responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing sales and go-to-market strategies specifically tailored to Nvidia's NCP (NVIDIA Cloud Providers, e.g. Lambda) for DDN (DataDirect Networks) in West Coast of United States. This role will focus on developing and executing high-impact sales strategies and winning large, complex deals for DDN's high-performance AI data solutions in alignment with Nvidia's NCP focus. The leader will work cross-functionally with Nvidia and DDN teams, ensuring we drive sell-to revenue wins with NCPs, co-sell with NCPs, and for deep partnerships.

This strategic leadership position will involve building strong partnerships with Nvidia stakeholders, influencing key decisions, and working closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to drive joint initiatives for maximizing revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

    Lead the overall sales strategy for Nvidia NCP customers with DDN's solutions.
  • Drive revenue and market share growth for DDN offerings, managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.Ability to clearly articulate the product's value across the full technology stack:
    • Translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes-demonstrating ROI, efficiency gains, risk reduction, or competitive advantage
    • Tailor messaging to resonate with business decision makers
    • Confidently position the product within the customer's strategic priorities, aligning its value with key business drivers

Go-to-Market Planning:

  • Collaborate with Nvidia and DDN marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing programs, demand generation activities, and sales campaigns that target key customer segments.
  • Create effective messaging, positioning, and value propositions for the DDN-Nvidia product offerings.

Partnership Management:

  • Foster and maintain a strategic relationship with Nvidia's sales, sales engineering and key resellers from NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN)
  • Ensure tight alignment with Nvidia's business strategies and maintain visibility of key product developments to optimize DDN's offerings.
  • Lead joint initiatives such as webinars, conferences, and customer demos to showcase the combined power of Nvidia NCP and DDN products.

Customer Engagement:

  • Build relationships with key enterprise customers, understanding their storage and computing needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on how Nvidia NCP and DDN's high-performance data solutions can meet customer goals.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases to prospective clients.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with DDN product management, engineering, and technical teams to ensure that sales strategies align with product capabilities and roadmaps.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across DDN to support joint sales enablement initiatives and ensure readiness for the Nvidia NCP market.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, updates, and market insights to DDN leadership.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize sales efforts.
  • Track competitive landscape and market trends to inform product positioning and strategic direction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales roles, preferably in technology or enterprise hardware/software sales.
  • Proven track record in sales of high-performance computing, AI/ML, data storage, or similar domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nvidia's NCP ecosystem and solutions.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies in collaboration with technology partners.
  • Strong understanding of the AI market, workloads, and large-scale enterprise data environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage partner relationships.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% to support partner and customer engagements as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in or alongside enterprise compute, storage and networking solutions.
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of large-scale data environments, including data architectures and AI workflows.
  • Ability to influence both internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives.
