Title: Operations Assistant and Interviewer- PRAMS $24.00 - $26.00 / Posted Thru: 5/9/2025 Part-Time / 25 Hours Per Week Location: Hybrid - Must Live and Work in Michigan Purpose: To conduct phone interviews and provide mail operations support for the Michigan Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) under the guidance of the Michigan PRAMS Coordinator and PRAMS Lead Operations Assistants. This is a part-time (25 hours per week) hybrid position that will require remote daytime weekday and some weekend work (for phone interviews) and in-office work usually on Tuesdays (for survey mailings). Typical daytime weekday phone interview shifts are 5 to 6 hours between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Weekend phone interview shifts vary. Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Possession of an associate's degree in public health, or a related health or social science field is preferred, but will consider others with survey, call center, or social science research experience and/or knowledge of maternal and child health fields. Experience: No specific type or amount is required. Important Skills and Characteristics:
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Hybrid in a Lansing, MI office. Part-Time, 25 hours per week. Schedule:In-office - Tuesday Full Day / Weekday Shifts 5-6 hours Between 9:00AM and 4:00PM, some weekend shifts required. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: No assigned responsibility IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS: The PRAMS Operations Assistant and Interviewer has a strong impact on the efficiency and integrity of the research conducted on the projects to which he/she is assigned. This position is critical to the timely and efficient completion of the projects' operations, as well as the timely and efficient operation of the project team.This position has a direct impact on the quality of services provided by MPHI to MDHHS.
