Job Description The Inbound Material Processing Coordinator tracks and resolves inbound material processing discrepancies. We are looking you to collaborate and communicate with Rockwell Automation and on-site 3PL teams, and internal customers and external suppliers, including 3PL providers, carriers, and vendors. You will report to the Fulfillment Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze 3PL and vendor data for reporting.
- Manage issues related to inbound materials, identifying root causes and proposing preventive solutions.
- Work with global distribution centers (DCs), plants, sourcing, and transportation teams to facilitate communication and action plans for performance improvements.
- Provide direct floor support and work with multiple teams.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve material disposition and purchase order (PO) issues promptly.
- Oversee daily Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) creation.
- Collaborate with on-site 3PL and Rockwell teams to address operational challenges and enhance efficiency.
- Track key metrics, drive issue resolution, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate Rockwell functional areas, ensuring corrective action.
- Strengthen collaboration and process improvements between Rockwell Automation and on-site 3PL providers.
- Help prioritize tasks and workflow within the 3PL environment to achieve business objectives.
- Provide support during off-hours or weekends as business needs dictate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and correct discrepancies within the distribution center.
- Ability to support process improvements and contribute to team training efforts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and management levels.
- Adaptability to navigate frequent changes in processes, workflow, and responsibilities.
- Commitment to compliance with business conduct policies and ability to train and motivate colleagues in adhering to standards.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and inbound material handling.
- Background in data tracking, performance monitoring, and issue resolution within a supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and supplier coordination.
