Job Description

Motivated by a competitive marketplace today, businesses offer complex product portfolios (hardware, software, services, acquired products and critical business capabilities are required to deliver these products & services to the marketplace.

As the Global Innovation Leader, you will help establish and scale our new global partner innovation team. You will report directly to the Director, Partner Innovation Team.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

• You will lead by example by providing expertise, constant learning, and a creative, transformative posture in this visible role internally and externally with our customers and strategic partners.

• You will identify innovation prototyping opportunities with "high impact" customers and strategic partners.

• You will develop executive and senior technical relationships within client organizations and strategic partners.

• Rockwell is a matrixed organization with many partners, divisions. It is important that we use and provide feedback across the breadth and depth of resources and projects. Amplify and collaborate - avoid and eliminate silos. Connect the dots across departments, enterprise. Support making the customer improvement team projects scalable

• You will capture insights and customer feedback from engagements and lead those insights into the wider team to improve services and products

• You will cork with Senior Innovation Solutions Architects, Prototyping Engineers (and future regional Engagement managers) to support customers in the exploration, brainstorming, engineering and delivery of edge/ cloud-based innovation across a scope of RA and partner technologies

• You will manage initiatives to evolve the Innovation Team programs.

• You will create awareness campaigns, spread technical /procedural know-how derived from engagements internally as well as other customers.

• You will be viewed as a trusted advisor for customer improvement across the technology landscape. Provide experience in one or more important areas (e.g. IoT, edge-to-cloud architecture, AI/ML, advanced analytics, XR, industrial metaverse)

• You will establish the scope and define a working setup in collaboration for respective initiatives. This will be used to direct the work of the Innovation Solutions Architects and others.

• You will manage prototyping engagements in collaboration with Innovation Solutions Architects

• You will directly contribute to customer solutions and learn capabilities of our services.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree

• Ability to travel up to 50%

The Preferred - You Might Have:

• 10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in IT or industrial applications or infrastructures.

• 8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, MES, XR, CMMS, ML/AI, data & analytics) applied to industrial or manufacturing.

• Experience driving adoption of disruptive technologies across diverse industries.

• Customer-facing experience in software, hardware or integrated systems delivery.

• Technical depth in new technology area such as Data/Analytics, PDM, Advanced controls, Edge/IoT, AR/XR, or AI/ML, cloud ecosystem technologies.

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for software development life cycle.

• Azure or AWS Knowledge and Certification.
