Certified Surgical Tech 8 Hr - PMC Surgery

We are looking for a Certified Operating Room/Surgical Tech (CST), internally referred as Surgical Technologist and/or Operating Room Technologist, at Providence Medical Center (Kansas City, KS), a member of Prime Healthcare. The Operating Room/Surgical Tech should be someone who is empathetic and has good communication skills. Bonus Options: up to a $10K bonus

Shift's Available: Days - Monday through Friday (6:30am - 3:00pm), with on-call requirement

Employment Type: Full Time

Hours: 8 hour shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
• maintaining sterile field during case
• providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
• able to work well under stressful and emergency situations
• able to act quickly and accurately
• some assistance in sterile processing may be necessary

Education and Training

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

• current CST certification upon hire and maintain current
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• graduate from a surgical technology program accredited through ARC/STSA
