Summary:

Cook Children's Medical Center and Healthcare System, based in Fort Worth, TX, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Hematologist to join our growing Hematology and Oncology Center to join our active Hematology Service. Currently, our 21 physicians and 13 nurse practitioners, as well as dedicated multi-disciplinary staff to see over 300 new cancer cases annually, and maintain a population of over 500 sickle cell syndrome patients, and are a designated Hemophilia Treatment Center. We have a very active outpatient practice and serve an expansive referral area including the Fort Worth Metro area, North Texas as well as East, Central and West Texas and the surrounding states. Our Hematology Oncology center is very active in clinical research in Oncology, Hematology fields, including involvement in several international pediatric stroke and thrombosis studies. Our center is an active member of Children's Oncology Group (COG) and has active collaborations with multiple academic institutions, Phase I consortiums and pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking an energetic BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with a strong base in General Hematology to fill this position. Minimum Qualifications

Successful candidates will have completed an accredited pediatric specialty training program and be board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencing employment.
