Overview

The Manager, Field Operations is responsible for the day to day support of the field organization with respect to fleet management and sample management



Responsibilities

Hybrid Fleet Vehicle and Reimbursement Program:

Manage the hybrid Fleet program comprising of both Fleet Vehicles and Reimbursement program. This includes planning, execution, collaboration, and reporting

Planning

    Plan for requirement of Fleet vehicles based on mileage and age thresholds
  • Incorporate ongoing market dynamics to identify and mitigate risks associated with vehicle availability, potential vehicle order cancellations, etc.
  • Plan for Field team members transitioning from Fleet vehicle program to Reimbursement program and vice versa
  • Plan for re-purposing the freed up low mileage fleet vehicles to other fleet program participants
  • Maintain SKLSI Fleet vehicle and Reimbursement programs Policy documents. Making regular updates as per industry benchmarks and management decisions
  • Plan for tax implications for the program participants
  • Plan for Management approvals, Field training, communications, and documentation

Execution:

  • Obtain management approvals, working with Vendor to execute the vehicle orders and ensuring delivery of the vehicles to the recipients
  • Work with the Field to resolve various vehicle maintenance related issues
  • Adhere to the existing Vehicle Policy, working with management to resolve exceptions
  • Manage Fleet driver violates and associated payments
  • Work with Sales Training and vendors to provide training to the Field on the fleet and reimbursement program and resolve risks / issues
  • Manage vehicle storage, re-routing, liquidation, etc.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with the program participants and resolve any issues

Reporting

  • Provide regular reporting to management about program health checks, potential risks / issues, and their resolutions
  • Provide regular reporting to Field leadership on program logistics

Sample Program

Manage the Sample Program, including planning, execution, collaboration, and reporting

Planning

  • Design and maintain an effective and efficient Sampling program in alignment with the Brand strategy
  • Plan for the appropriate inventory of Samples with the Sample vendor
  • Plan for mitigation of potential issues / risks in reasonable time frame, specifically issues with the Sampling vendor
  • Maintain SKLSI Sample program Policy document. Making regular updates as per industry benchmarks and management decisions
  • Plan for the design and implementation of any new Sample program, as per management guidance

Execution:

  • Work with the Sample vendor to execute on the Sample program logistics
  • Ensure that the Sample vendor adheres to the Sample BRD and contractual obligations including order processing, shipping, and issue resolution thresholds
  • Work with Analytics team to conduct Sample program ROI analysis and provide insights to management. Provide recommendations and next steps

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with the program participants and resolve any issues

Reporting

  • Provide regular reporting to management about program health checks, potential risks / issues, and their resolutions
  • Provide regular reporting to Field leadership on program logistics


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5 years' pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience within CNS and epilepsy preferred
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity and strategic relationship building skills
  • Strong desire to gain knowledge and expand on current experience
  • Conscientious with attention to detail and desire to produce quality results with a focus on team objectives
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel and powerpoint
