Pay Rate:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Tube Operator is responsible for performing the cooling operation for cooling of product. Operate automated control panels, read gauges on the compressor panels, and control the tubes filled with produce. Operate Butane-powered industrial forklift to move product in the yard and operate a battery-powered.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

* Operates automated control panels, including reading gauges on the compressor panels and controlling the tubes filled with produce.
* Maintain cooling logs of all loads.
* Check vacuum pumps.
* Operate electric powered industrial forklift to move product in the yard and a battery powered forklift to move product into the warehouse.
* Performs stacking and strapping duties when needed.
* Adheres to all company GMPs and Safety policies.
* Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and 20 lbs overhead as job demands.
* Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
* Must be able to work on exposure temperatures that may change depending on day-by-day weather including extreme cold, heat and rainy conditions.
* Will have some exposure to fumes and airborne particles.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

* Requires working weekends, holidays, and nights.
* Night shift position, (shift may vary)
* Ability to travel to various work locations (Marina, Huron, Yuma) and relocate.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

PAY RATE:

$24.00
