Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Projects Coordinator. The Projects Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing project, administration, and technical writing support for the client's security programs, which include communications, governance, globalization, compliance, operational accountability, and strategic planning. This role requires strong project management capabilities, technical proficiency in security systems, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. This role will also drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to optimize workflows and enhance service delivery.

This role requires a valid drivers license and a minimum 5+ years of security experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Lead and manage physical security and technology-related special projects from initiation through full deployment, including quoting, testing, implementation, and timeline management
  • Drive project execution and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with program goals and deadlines
  • Manage, oversee and provide support for client security systems and platforms, including:
    • Access control, video management, visitor management, and intercom systems
    • Troubleshoot and moderate system issues, manage service tickets, dispatch, and ensure proper documentation
  • Implement, support, and ensure compliance of Allied Universal technology platforms (e.g., HELIAUS, Mercury, LYTX), including troubleshooting and performance tracking
  • Develop, manage, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), post orders, training materials, and security policy documentation
  • Generate, analyze, and present data-driven performance metrics (KPIs) for client reporting and strategic planning
  • Explore and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies to enhance workflows and support departmental innovation
  • Collaborate with Portfolio and Account Managers to develop and execute training programs in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in planning and executing business process improvements, global system integrations, and testing support

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Must possess one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Security, Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Project Management or related field of study
    • Associate's degree in Security, Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Project Management or related field of study with a minimum of eight (8) years of combined security industry experience
    • High school diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years of combined security industry experience
  • Minimum of six (6) years of combined security industry experience, which must be distributed across a variety of security expertise (e.g., Security Operations, Intelligence, Crisis Management, GSOC, Call Centers, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills including creation of metrics and data sets to leverage for insightful recommendations
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams with effective communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems
  • Excellent writing, editing, and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with a high degree of multi-tasking and organization
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate a variety of time-consuming, detail-oriented task and assignments simultaneously, while under deadlines
  • Willingness and flexibility to respond to client needs with limited notice, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to contribute to innovative solutions with the scope of assigned tasks and issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Technical or professional writing certification
  • Prior work experience as a technical writer, trainer, or similar position
  • Proven experience in generating technical process documentation, preferably in the security industry
  • Familiarity with creating project process documents and style guides

  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
