About the Role: We are looking for a skilled IT Program Manager to join our Specialty team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing critical large scale IT programs for Specialty. As we seek to replace our aging systems, this includes SAP short term and MES, PLM in the next 2-3 years. Initiatives in outer years will be determined by the business-aligned technology roadmap and innovative technologies. This position will be located at one of our facilities in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Pay and Benefits:



  • $130,000 - $180,000 per year
  • Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management



  • Work with stakeholders to identify, define, scope, and prioritize Specialty's program objectives and deliverables
  • Partner with sponsors and champions to understand success criteria and value realization measures



Program Management



  • Responsible for coordinating across IT, various businesses, and the transformation office for successful deployment of major technology programs
  • Responsible to define and coordinate Specialty's engagement in major cross-business technology deployment programs
  • Identify and manage project interdependencies
  • Coordinate governance activities on behalf of Specialty (risk, issue identification & resolution, KDDs, milestone tracking & status escalation)
  • Monitor and communicate program status, accomplishments, and needs both within and outside the project teams to ensure project success
  • Ensure projects within the program are completed on time, within cost and agreed upon scope & deliverables. Monitor, resolve and/or escalate critical path issues.
  • Manage the program's budget (as appropriate)
  • Support development of effective project teams and monitor resources across the program
  • Drive use of common PM/ PgM tools and PM/ PgM functional excellence in alignment with enterprise tools across the program
  • Ensure effective documentation of and access to project and program learnings



Organizational Change Management



  • Partner with enterprise Program Change Manager(s) as appropriate, to develop Specialty change management plans that support program adoption and sustainment
  • Define and drive Specialty business readiness activities'
  • Define and drive a Specialty communications strategy to support awareness, knowledge transfer and readiness across all levels of Specialty


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT project manager
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT program manager with a large scale SAP implementation
  • Demonstrated experience leading global and cross-functional project teams
  • Experience working with IT and/or service vendors, maintaining vendor relationships, and working with vendor support organizations to meet customer needs
  • Proficient understanding of SAP value streams in the area of Order to Cash (OTC), Forecast to Plan (FTP), Plan to Make (PTM), and/or Logistics Warehouse Mgt (LWM)
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and project management methodologies
  • Solid understanding of IT financials, forecasts, expense and capital
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate and present technical information to non-technical audience
  • Ability to travel 10%



Desired Qualifications:



  • PMP, PMI, or Scrum Master certification
  • Prior experience working in an Enterprise/ IT PMO environment
  • Experience engaging with a global program rollout exceeding 18 months or $25M in costs
  • Experience applying lean tools (e.g.: Value Steam Mapping, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis) to identify wastes and propose technology-enabled process improvements
  • Experience with organizational change management methodologies (e.g.: PROSCI)
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g: GxP, ISO)
  • Proficient understanding of SAP in 2 or more workstreams: Order to Cash (OTC), Forecast to Plan (FTP), Plan to Make (PTM), and/or Logistics Warehouse Mgt (LWM)
