Position Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for attracting qualified candidates to fill vacancies across various skill sets and subsidiaries. The candidate will report to the Manager of Strategic Recruiting and drive strategic recruitment and sourcing of professionals within the Federal sector. In this role, the candidate will be a key recruiting talent partner for various groups within the sector, interface with business and program leaders, and deliver qualified talent to fill critical business roles. Specifically:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert for recruitment and placement of staff.
Work directly with the hiring managers to determine hiring needs, best recruitment avenues, and compensation for open positions.
Utilize external resources/tools to engage with job seekers including, but not limited to; LinkedIn, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, etc.
Conduct research to remain educated on the top resources available to identify personnel.
Proactively contact potential candidates by telephone, e-mail, and text to establish relationships, understand their needs and qualify them for job opportunities.
Persistently generate candidate leads through strategic planning and referrals.
Develop and maintain relationships with candidates in order to create a recruiting pipeline
Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and searches, ensuring all OFCCP compliance regulations are being met.
Responsible for implementing/maintaining recruitment procedures for external candidates and monitoring the application and on-boarding process for those individuals.
Responsible for managing the internal Applicant Tracking System (Taleo). Review applications and disposition candidates appropriately who do not meet position requirements.
Track and report productivity and weekly activity to ensure that the minimum company expectations are met or exceeded

Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
Experience:
Five (5+) or more years of government contract recruiting experience
Proven success in recruiting, sales, or other metrics-driven environment.
Ability to handle high volume and full life cycle recruiting
Sound knowledge and thorough understanding of Internet recruitment resources
Extensive experience using Boolean searches to identify candidates via external recruitment resources
Advanced cold calling and recruiting skills, as well as demonstrated follow up ability on all recruitment activity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively communicate with candidates, clients and co-workers in an effective manor via phone and email to establish/maintain professional business relationships
Excellent follow up and time management skills; must be able to work productively in a fast-paced sales environment with little direct supervision
Ability to clearly and concisely draft various types of written correspondence
Ability to provide solutions to improve internal recruitment processes, etc.
Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands:
Position is remote. It is required that candidate has a remote office environment that is conducive for to perform duties without disruption.
Must be willing to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) from 9-5 PM. Must be flexible to work additional hours or hours outside of 9-5 PM based off the needs of the hiring teams.
