The Compensation Analyst I is responsible to assist with executing basic activities associated with compensation management under the direct guidance of the Compensation Advisor and Manager of HRIS & Payroll. Assist in salary surveys and analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness both internally and externally. Assist in preparation of compensation increase and incentive programs. Utilize data results to make recommendations and/or identify trends based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), market information, or business strategy. Assist in preparing required reporting and filings. Work successfully with both internal and external partners including employees, HR team members, business leaders, compensation consultants, vendors, and others. Perform employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence.
- Collects, analyzes, and compiles data and statistics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and compensation sources to assists with the market benchmarking process and all activities related to analysis of market trends. Participate in market competitive pay positions to ensure pay structure meets overall company goals and objectives.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting.
- Under direct supervision, compiles compensation-related reporting for internal and external data requests for audits.
- Assists the Mgr-HRIS & Payroll and/or Compensation Advisor in the preparation of reports of data results to be presented to management and/or senior leadership.
- Utilizes analytical skills to participate in evaluating, developing, and optimizing compensation programs and opportunities.
- Respond to and resolve basic ad-hoc compensation related reporting inquiries.
- Participate on project team(s) within and/or related to compensation.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee documentation.
Qualifications Required Education, Skills & Experience
- BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1+ years of related experience preferred
- Committed to confidentiality and ability to handle and disseminate sensitive data.
- Willingness to take action on quick prioritization and meeting commitments in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience with Microsoft Office possessing basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with a business intelligence platform (such as MS Power BI) a plus
