Summary:The Marketing Manager, Pet & Health will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies with Trident's international businesses. This role will report to the VP of Pet & Health and work closely with both global marketing and other cross functional teams to develop targeted campaigns for multiple Pet & Health brands and offerings. This role will also be responsible for creating processes and efficiencies around going to market with current and future customers and ensuring that existing resources are leveraged appropriately. This position will also play a key role in ensuring there is strong marketing communication connectivity between Pet and Health and our various other departments where Pet & Health intersect globally.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Trident's Pet & Health business to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand US and global pet & health trends.
  • Conduct market analysis leveraging digital marketing tools and analytics to understand domestic and global pet and health related consumer behaviors and preferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, research and development, communications, and others to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the creation and localization of marketing materials for different domestic and international regions, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance.
  • Leverage existing Trident marketing materials and ensure there are processes in place to maximize the efficiency of existing marketing resources.
  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing communications plan to ensure internal and external stakeholders receive relevant internal and external messages and updates.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of domestic and global pet & health marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and international markets.
  • Support the VP of Pet & Health, Pet & Health team with a dotted line to the Global Marketing Team with selected executive-level presentations and materials.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $120,000 to $160,000.

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with cross-cultural communication
  • Food and beverage industry experience
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
  • International agency management experience

Preferred education and experience

  • A master's degree in marketing, international business, or related field
  • International marketing experience
  • Brand development experience
  • Social influencing campaign experience
  • Seafood industry experience
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in PowerPoint and executive presentations

Work environment (includes travel/on-call):

  • Hybrid role based in Seattle, WA
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, estimated at 10%-20%

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision for frequent use of a computer.

Work Environment

This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Trident Support Center office in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Our hybrid work environment includes remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
