Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an Information Technology Project Manager (ITPM) SME to join our team! The ITPM will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and cybersecurity projects for MSC under ITESS, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget while meeting all DoD standards. This position is required to be on-site in Norfolk, VA.



Duties & Responsibilities

    Lead the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, risk management strategies, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, and system administration teams.
  • Conduct stakeholder management, project reporting, and quality assurance activities.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects with budgets exceeding $10M.
  • Manage internal and external communication, ensuring project transparency and accountability.


Qualifications

Required

  • Active PMP certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or science.
  • Master's degree (preferred), or an additional eight (8) years of directly relevant DOD system engineering and IT project management experience in lieu of the degree
  • Minimum SECRET clearance.
  • 8+ years of project management experience leading multi-disciplinary IT teams.

Desired

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience delivering IT capabilities for DOD or Navy programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing Navy or Department of Defense systems engineering and IT acquisition projects.
